There have been a number of other names that have been linked with a switch to the Emirates in recent weeks. Shakhtar Donetsk’s Manor Solomon is someone the club reportedly have an active interest in, while Vinicius Jnr of Real Madrid is thought to be a potential target.
Brighton’s Yves Bissouma, and Valencia’s Carlos Soler are also players that are on Arsenal’s watchlist but it’s unlikely that these two players will be signed in January due to the club’s limited transfer budget. Barcelona’s Riqui Puig and Porto’s Otavio are other targets that have been talked about as well.
The focus for this month appears to be a new no.10, and perhaps a goalkeeper. Barcelona’s Neto is believed to be on the radar, although it does seem as though his club will be reluctant to let him leave. As things stand, then, we may only see one player come in on loan before the transfer deadline.
