Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has won the club’s player of the month award for January. The Brazilian has established himself as a first-team player recently, bagging himself goals against Sheffield United and Chelsea in the past few weeks.
The Brazilian has proven an absolute bargain after the Gunners picked him up for just £7m from Ituano back in the summer. Supporters on Twitter have been singing the praises of the 18-year-old:

Martinelli’s solo goal against Chelsea was a particular highlight, with the teenager demonstrating his skill in possession before having the composure to finish off the chance he made for himself.
The Brazilian Under 23 international has 10 goals and four assists in total, from just 23 appearances for Arsenal this campaign, and he is already attracting the interest of the likes of Real Madrid. Fans will be hoping that he sticks around at the Emirates for many years to come following his recent form.
