Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle with Bukayo Saka over a new contract, according to reports in the UK.
It is believed that a five-year deal, worth approximately £200,000 a week, is expected to be signed, ending speculation about the player’s future.
The vast majority of supporters on Twitter believe Saka fully deserves his sizeable salary increase, considering he is now one of the first names on the team sheet for the Gunners:

At the moment, this information has not been confirmed by reliable sources, so there is a chance that these reports have jumped the gun somewhat.
However, if they do turn out to be accurate, it will be a tremendous boost, considering Saka has been heavily linked with Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid over the last few months.
Teams were said to be looking to exploit any potential issues in contract negotiations, with the player having less than two years remaining on his current deal. From the sound of things, though, fans can rest easy that the player will be staying at the Emirates.
