Arsenal striker Alexander Lacazette has been “offered” to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus by his agents, according to Calciomercato.com.
The Italian website reports that talks over extending the Frenchman’s stay at the Emirates have stalled, with the forward refusing to take a pay cut on the €6m (£5.15m) a year salary he is currently earning.
With just one year remaining on his current deal with the Gunners, Lacazette has accepted that he will need to leave the club and seek a new challenge elsewhere.
Atletico Madrid, in particular, have been interested in the 29-year-old in the past, and they did let Diego Costa leave on a free transfer in January so there is room in their squad for another striker.
Barcelona and Juventus are also thought to be looking to strengthen up front, although both clubs have been hit hard by the financial impact of the global health crisis so it remains to be seen if they have the funds to pay what Arsenal would want for Lacazette.
