Arsenal are locked in “talks” with the the representatives of Fenerbahce left-back Ferdi Kadioglu, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian journalist claims that the Gunners have not made a bid for the Turkish international but they are trying to find an “agreement on personal terms” before approaching Fenerbahce:

Kadioglu has been linked with a move to the Emirates on and off over the past year. Earlier this month, a Turkish journalist Devrim Zengi said he had talked with the defender’s father, who hinted that the player had “agreed” to join Arsenal.
Tavolieri’s latest update does seem to back up those claims but we shall have to wait and see if sources in the English media also verify the reporting.
What do Arsenal fans need to know about Kadioglu?
The 24-year-old began his career as a midfielder but he has been converted into a defender over the last couple of years.
For that reason, Kadioglu does possess the skill set needed to play as an inverted fullback, which is something that manager Mikel Arteta requires.
With the future of Oleksandr Zinchenko up in the air, it could well be the case that Kadioglu is being targeted as a potential replacement for the Ukrainian.
How much would Kadioglu cost?
As Tavolieri mentions, the Gunners have not got as far as tabling a formal bid for the player yet, but reports in Turkey have indicated that Fenerbahce would demand around €30m (£26m).
That is not a fee which would necessarily put off Arsenal, so we shall see if there are further developments on this transfer over the coming days and weeks.
