Piers Morgan Calls On Arsenal To Pay 25 Goal Marksman “Whatever He Wants” To Sign On Dotted Line

Arsenal fan and broadcaster Piers Morgan has told the Gunners to pay striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang “whatever he wants” in order to persuade the 31-year-old into staying at the Emirates.

The club captain scored twice against Manchester City on Saturday, taking his total to 25 in all competitions this season, and Morgan wants the forward tied down to a new deal as soon as possible:

There have been reports that Aubameyang is holding out for parity with Mesut Ozil, who is currently earning an astronomical £350,000 a week.

However, Arsenal are now reluctant to pay those type of wages, especially in the current financial climate, but they have offered an extension to his current contract, which expires at the end of next season.

Aubameyang has yet to decide whether to put pen to paper on a deal but it is hoped that recent progress under head coach Mikel Arteta will lead to him staying for the long term.
