Arsenal are weighing up a move for Inter Milan wingback Denzel Dumfries, according to reports in the English media.
The Nerazzurri could be persuaded to sell the Netherlands international for between ยฃ40m and ยฃ50m this summer in order to alleviate their financial problems and the Gunners are seriously considering the defender as a target.
There has been a mixed reaction from supporters on Twitter about the transfer links, with some believing that Dumfries would be a good addition, while others are not so sure:
If Arteta wants him, I want him too.

Chelsea and Manchester United are the two Premier League teams who have been most heavily linked with Dumfries, although there was a report last month that suggested Mikel Arteta’s had entered the race.
A new right-back is something that needs to be considered. Ben White is ostensibly being played out of position while Takehiro Tomiyasu’s form has been poor. As some fans have pointed out, though, Dumfries would not be the perfect fit. His preference is to play in a three-at-the-back system, and there are questions about his defensive abilities if he is asked to line up in a back four.
