According to the Daily Mail, French international, Olivier Giroud met renowned agent Ozcan at a restaurant in Hampstead on Thursday evening. Ozcan is not his contracted agent, and it raises all the more questions as to why his current agent Mickael Manuello was not present at the supposed secret meeting.

Ozcan was instrumental in former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini signing for Turkish giants Galatasaray. He also has good contacts in France, Giroud’s home country.

The report claims that the meeting was purely for commercial purposes, according to Manuello. In what will be music to the ears of Arsenal fans, Manuello also said that Giroud was not looking to exit the Emirates in the summer.

This secret meeting follows his encounter with lingerie model Celia Kay, throwing more controversy in the direction of the 27-year-old. Kay had taken a picture of Giroud in just his underwear the night before Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last month.
