The Turkish champions have lost Didier Drogba to Chelsea this summer and are on the lookout for replacements. They have reportedly cast their eye towards north London and are interested in a move for Arsenal duo Podolski and Campbell, according to the Express.

The report states that delegates from Gala have already flown to London to thrash out a deal for the pair. However, despite signing striker Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, Arsene Wenger does not want to lose either forward.

Podolski is a key member of Arsenal’s squad and has scored 19 league goals in the past two seasons for the Gunners. Campbell, who returned to Arsenal after three successive loan spells, is valued at £8 million but Wenger has sung his praises and wants to keep hold of him.

Wenger said, “He is good on the ball, creative and collectively as well he has a good balance between individual skill and collective attitude – that’s not easy to find and there is no reason to let him go.”

Podolski is valued at £20 million and a bid in that region could tempt Wenger to cash in on the 29-year-old.
