Brandt’s key passes for the last three years have averaged between 50 and 90. If you compare those figures to someone like Kevin De Bruyne, he is significantly behind the Belgian, who had a remarkable 155 last campaign.
The Manchester City star is an exceptional case, though. If you look at Mesut Ozil when the German got 12 assists in the 2017/18 season, his key pass number was 80. It means Brandt is in the same ballpark as his fellow German in terms of supplying balls that lead to shots.
