Some reports in the English media have suggested that Arsenal are now considering a move for Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Julian Brandt.

It was believed that Lyon’s Houssem Aouar was the number one target for the January transfer window but a bid for the Frenchman is now thought to be on the backburner.

Brandt could be available after falling down the pecking order at Dortmund. The German international has only started six league games so far this season.
