Last season for Borussia Dortmund, Brandt made 59 passes and two crosses into the penalty box. Although those figures are significantly worse than De Bruyne (who made 136 passes and 22 crosses), he is much better than Aouar.
The Frenchman managed just 25 passes and no crosses into the penalty area last season, despite providing ten assists in all competitions. It suggests that Brandt is more active further up the pitch than Aouar.
