Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has been pictured in full training ahead of Thursday’s game against Sporting Lisbon.
The Brazilian international has been sidelined with a knee injury since the World Cup but he is now closing in on his first-team comeback.
Considering Jesus’s importance to the team, it is not surprising to see so many fans on Twitter getting excited about his return to fitness:

Manager Mikel Arteta has warned that it will take some time before Jesus is 100% fit. The 25-year-old has not played a minute of football for the best part of three months.
The last thing that they need is for the striker to suffer a recurrence of the injury, especially with the likes of Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard also being sidelined.
While Jesus is likely to get minutes off the bench in upcoming fixtures, the Gunners will be mindful of not putting him back into the fray too quickly.
