Arsenal are reportedly long-term admirers of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix and, with the player said to be keen on moving clubs in January, supporters have been discussing whether the Gunners could secure his services.
The Portuguese international is unlikely to be let go for a low fee, though, considering he cost Atletico £113m, but fans on Twitter would back a deal if signing the La Liga star became a realistic possibility:
Bring him please…..

Joao at Arsenal would be like a weightlifter on steroids. It would be ridiculous for both him and us.

Felix has also been linked with a number of other Premier League teams, including Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool, so we shall see who ends up being the frontrunner for the 22-year-old’s signature.
You do have to wonder where he would fit into Mikel Arteta’s system. His best position is probably as a support striker, and the Gunners already have players, such as Martin Odegaard and Fabio Vieira, who like to play in the same areas of the pitch.
