Aubameyang Is A Given In Arsenal’s Attacking Front Four – Who Else Should Ljungberg Select? Gabriel Martinelli
Martinelli

Many people have been asking why Unai Emery was not giving Gabriel Martinelli a start in a Premier League game, given his excellent record of now 8 goals in 15 games across all competitions it made no sense.

Anyway interim boss Ljungberg wasted not time and handed Martinelli his first League start last Monday at the London Stadium vs the Hammers.

After a lacklustre first 60 minutes from Arsenal traling 1-0, Pellegrini’s West Ham suddenly could not handle a dangerous Arsenal side who proceeded to go into a supersonic gear as Martinelli (60’minutes), Pépé (66’minutes) and Aubameyang (69’minutes) put the Hammers away as the Gunners were devastating for 10 minutes.

Why it took the manager being fired for Pépé in particular to come to life we may never know but at least now there is clear evidence that there is a top player there.
