Aubameyang Is A Given In Arsenal’s Attacking Front Four – Who Else Should Ljungberg Select?

Arsenal are still continuing their search for a new manager after relieving Unai Emery of his duties following a terrible run of form which saw Arsenal go 9 games without a win in all competitions before beating West Ham on Monday night.

Freddie Ljungberg began his spell in charge with a tepid and tentative 2-2 draw with relegation threatened Norwich City after the team had last won in the Europa League 3-2 on October 24th vs Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães.

After this Monday night Ljungberg may have improved his chances of getting the job on a permanent basis after the win over West Ham on Monday night where he made a bold selection of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but partnered with exciting young Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli who rewarded his manager with a goal on his Premier League debut at the tender age of 18 years old.

With his form in the Europe League and other domestic cup competitions Martinelli had surely done enough to earn a Premier League start but Emery was not willing to chance the youngster but fairplay to interim manager Ljungberg to have faith and name Martinelli as a starter and the starlet and manager both proved a point.
