Nicolas Pepe has shown flashes of why Arsenal shelled out an amazing club record fee of £76m to Lille for him and how the Gunners pulled off the deal was by creatively spreading the fee across 4 payments. Lille clearly thought the £76million fee was too good to turn dowm.
The payment structure was apparently suggested by Josh Kroenke who seems to be taking more of an active roll in the running of the Gunners and lets be honest the Kroenke heir seems to have a genuine love of the beautiful game and appears to be getting the green-light from his father to become more proactive with the administration of Arsenal which seems like it could be a ggod thing for the club.
There is no doubt that Nicolas Pepe has not done enough to deserve to start each League game yet but at least he is taking responsibility for his poor performances so far and has vowed to do better and the signs are positive at last.
