Arsenal Make Their First Transfer In 2015?

Wenger has made his first move on the transfer market. The Frenchman who was in negotiations with Legia Warsaw for quite a while now, managed to secure Krystian Bielik’s signature. According to Metro, the youngster admitted to have agreed to terms with Arsenal. He is now waiting for the clubs to reach an agreement as well. The 17 year old who has a deal with Legia until 2017, will probably be joining the Gunners sometimes next week if all is good as far as the transfer fee goes. Rumors stay that there is a possibility he will remain on loan until the end of the season given the fact that he is so young of age and could have trouble handling the Premier League right after leaving Poland. Even so, he looks like a great addition to the team. Wenger has been missing a talented young defensive midfielder. After missing out on PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, the Frenchman started negotiations with Legia. Fortunately for Arsenal, Bielik accepted the offer a couple of weeks of going back and forth with the officials on Emirates.

Bielik is expected to cost around £2million which should be enough to convince the Legia Warsaw’s management to let the youngster leave. There should not be a problem regarding the transfer given how much confidence the 17 year old showed when asked about his future. Even if he will not be playing for Arsenal right from the start, it is clear that he will end up on Emirates eventually.

Wenger in his press conference on Friday was quite evasive when asked about young Bielik, the boss acknowledged they had been watching the player but denied the deal is close to being done and from what he said it may not happen despite their obvious admiration for the player.
