Arsenal have joined a host of teams who are interested in signing Palmeiras winger Gabriel Veron, according to reports.

The teenager has been mentioned as a potential target for Manchester United in recent days but it is also believed that the Gunners, Manchester City and Tottenham are keeping tabs on the player, along with Barcelona and Sassuolo.

Veron is said to have impressed scouts with some of his performances for Palmeiras this season. The Brazilian club’s league campaign started in April and the 19-year-old has made 11 appearances in total, providing three assists.

The winger has also featured regularly in the Copa Libertadores, scoring once and contributing an assist during his five matches in the competition so far.

Palmeiras were said to be content to keep hold of Veron this summer but the interest in the Brazilian Under 20 international could tempt them into selling up. They have reportedly slapped a £10m price tag on the player.
