Latest Arsenal Injury Report: Updates On Aubameyang, Lacazette, Tierney And Xhaka

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was substituted in the closing stages of the 3-1 win over Aston Villa on Friday night.

There were some concerns that the 32-year-old was taken off due to an injury but manager Mikel Arteta confirmed after the game that the striker was just suffering from cramp.

Alexandre Lacazette was replaced by Martin Odegaard 25 minutes from the end of the match, which also prompted some questions about the Frenchman’s fitness. However, Arteta said that the forward was taken off as a precautionary measure after not playing much in recent weeks.

Kieran Tierney missed the Villa victory with a bruised left ankle and there has been no estimate given on when the Scotland international will return to action.

Granit Xhaka is likely to be back in contention at some point in December. The midfielder is currently undergoing rehab on a medial collateral ligament injury that he sustained in the North London derby.
