Images purporting to show Arsenal’s new home jersey for the 2021/22 season have leaked out online and the reaction among supporters has been rather negative.
There is a predominance of white on the shirt, which makes it look similar to Ajax’s design, and fans on Twitter were quick to disparage Adidas’s latest kit:
Didn’t think it could get any worse!

Considering many loved the 2020/21 home shirt, it is a surprise that Adidas have apparently got it so wrong with this new kit. White has always been part of the shirt sleeves but it has rarely been used on the torso.
The closest comparison would be the kits from Nike between 1998 and 2000 but, even then, there was a blue trim which gave it a unique look.
At this stage, these are only leaked photos, but with it being only a few months before the official launch of the new home shirt, there is unlikely to be many changes to the design before it is released.
