We have reached the time of year again where leaked images of new shirts start circulating online and it seems like the first pictures of Arsenal’s new home kit have arrived.
Although not verified, the source for this image has been deemed pretty reliable and it has led to a lot of debate on Twitter among fans, who are very much split on the new design:
Smooth. Classic. Title Winning.

The general consensus seems to be that Adidas are trying to emulate the kit which was worn by the Gunners between 1998 and 2000, which is, of course, a callback to when the club were regularly competing for league titles.
Some are loving the retro design but others are certainly not as convinced. This image is only a mockup of the final product, though so, while supporters shouldn’t expect major changes, there may be some subtle differences that could make it more of a crowd pleaser.
