Nicholas States His Prediction For Arsenal’s Game Against Watford

Former Arsenal player Charlie Nicholas believes that Watford will use a physical approach to try and unnerve Arsenal at Vicarage Road tomorrow.

The Hornets are under new management after Javi Gracia was replaced by Quique Sanchez Flores and Nicholas believes the Spaniard will look to make things difficult for the Gunners. However, the TV pundit thinks if the London club’s midfield and attack is firing on all cylinders, they should have enough to overcome their opponents:

“Watford will look to cause another upset and get off the mark. They like to get physical with Arsenal, so they may approach it this way again.”

“With Quique Sanchez Flores coming in again, it will certainly boost the hosts. I liked him before, but he didn’t play overly aggressive. He played quite technically. How are Arsenal’s struggles at the back capable of competing with the physical side? The midfield and attack should be strong enough.”

Nicholas has gone for a 3-1 win for Arsenal and considering that Watford are in such dire straits at the moment, you have to think that the away side are the firm favourites heading into the match.

They may be without Alexandre Lacazette, but the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe and Dani Ceballos have more than enough quality to cause their opponents massive problems.

Watford have conceded eight goals in their first four matches, and have yet to pick a win, and the Gunners will be looking to pounce on the Hornets’ lack of confidence.
