Forget Toney – Arsenal Have Agreement In Place For England Man Who Will Finally Be Coming Home

Arsenal have agreed to sign striker Harry Kane from Bayern Munich with the deal set to be made official at the end of the season.

The ex-Tottenham player has decided that joining the fierce rivals of his former club won’t get in the way of his ambition of becoming the Premier League’s all-time top scorer.

Kane has had a successful season in Germany on a personal level, having hit the back of the net 37 times in 36 appearances for Bayern.

However, the trophy curse has seemingly travelled with him to the Bundesliga, with Bayern set to end the season without silverware for the first time in well over a decade.

Arsenal have been keen to recruit a new no.9

The likes of Brentford’s Ivan Toney, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Sporting Lisbon’s Viktor Gyokeres have been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates in recent months.

However, the surprise availability of Kane made the decision easy for Arsenal, who could be set to dominate the Premier League with England’s captain up front.

The Gunners could also recruit two other ex-Tottenham players

In addition to Kane, it is believed that Mikel Arteta’s side have held talks with Los Angeles FC about bringing in former Spurs captain Hugo Lloris as their new No.2. A replacement for Aaron Ramsdale will be needed if the 25-year-old leaves this summer.

Eric Dier, who moved to join Kane at Bayern in January, is also weighing up a potential switch to the Gunners. The goal is to help Kane settle into his new surroundings with some familiar faces in the squad.

This deal will take place at the beginning of a future transfer window, or perhaps not. As you may have gathered, this is an April Fool’s story. Have a good day and don’t believe everything you read on the internet!
