Ceballos Singles Out Three Players In Arsenal’s Squad Who Will “Make The Difference” For Them This Season

Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has singled out the Gunners’ front three as integral to the club’s chances of success this campaign.

The 23-year-old has been very impressed with Alexandre Lacazette, but he also believes Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will make key contributions for Arsenal over the coming months:

“We’ve got a very good, compact side and the three up front really make the difference. You can compare [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang to Cristiano [Ronaldo] when he was at Madrid in the sense that he plays close to the goal, he lives for scoring. He’s very important for us, fundamental.”

“[Nicolas] Pepe is very direct. And [Alexandre] Lacazette, for me, is the best player: he understands the game perfectly and, if he’s 100%, he’s going to give us so much.”

The front three will need the service from midfield, though, and Ceballos will be crucial to ensuring that the Gunners’ lethal attack have the ammunition to bang in the goals this season.

It’s been an excellent start for the Spaniard at the Emirates, despite some difficulties during the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool last month. With two assists in just four appearances, he is already showing his quality in the final third of the pitch.

Ceballos seems to be taking things in his stride so far and will likely be in the starting eleven when Arsenal make the trip to Watford on Sunday.
