Arsenal will play Rennes in the last 16 of the Europa League after making it through against BATE Borisov last night.
The French side are currently 11th in Ligue One but did come out 6-4 winners on aggregate against Real Betis after a 3-1 away win yesterday evening.
Supporters on Twitter believe the Gunners could have got a harder draw but some are warning not to be complacent:

Very good team. Should not be underestimated

Real Betis is a good side and they got done in by the pace and headers of Rennais. Hopefully Arsenal takes the game seriously this time, because there won’t be an easy comeback this time

Good draw but wanted Villareal….to see the little magician at the Emirates again

I got my prediction right ? I’ve watched Rennes this season there no mugs got a few quick forward that are clinical including Ben Afra but a horrible defence don’t let us down arsenal ?

we definitely need to score at least 3 in our home leg to progress. we shouldn’t underestimate this team at all.

An easy draw on the cards but still need to win over two legs . Can’t wait for it . Arsenal should go through to the quarter finals . #UEL #UELDraw

I hope we don’t take them lightly, let’s beat them convincingly at home before fielding fringe players in France

Rennes are certainly no slouches. They have talented players, including reported Arsenal target Ismail Sarr, in their ranks.
You can expect both games to be open encounters and the Gunners will be hoping their extra quality in attack will help them progress to the quarterfinals.
The first leg will be at the Emirates on 7th March while the return fixture will be just a week later. The London club will have the North London derby against Tottenham the weekend before the first match.
The Manchester United game will also be sandwiched between the two legs making for a huge couple of weeks for Unai Emery’s side.
