Arsenal are scouting Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr, according to reports in the English media.
The London club are, however, not the only team tracking the 20-year-old. Inter Milan are also very interested in the midfielder, while Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with the player in the past.
Sarr is said to be valued at £20m by his club, although considering they paid €17m for him in 2017, they will likely seek a lot more. He has gotten off to an excellent start to the season, having scored three goals in seven appearances.
The Senegalese international is an inverted winger, he cuts in from the left-hand side onto his stronger right foot, and he uses his pace to run past opposing defenders.
Sarr played all three of Senegal’s group matches at the World Cup and has been shortlisted among the 60 most promising young players for Europe’s Golden Boy award.
