Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed when Dani Ceballos’s move to Arsenal could happen.

It was claimed in the Spanish press yesterday that the midfielder was just hours away from sealing a loan switch, but speaking after the penalty shootout win against the Gunners, Zidane said:

“It hasn’t been done yet, the club is in talks, we’ll see in the next few days.”

With Zidane having given his approval to the move, it does appear that the deal has been all but sewn up.

Arsenal are believed to be working hard on a number of other deals with the transfer deadline looming.

With just 15 days to go, though, the London club have only officially signed one player in Gabriel Martinelli so far, but that could change pretty quickly with the arrival of Ceballos and Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba.

Manager Unai Emery has confirmed there could be as many as four new signings before August 8th, but it remains to be seen if the club can get them all over the line.
