‘World Beater’ ‘Brick Wall’ ‘Could Of Saved The Titanic’ – Fans On Social Media Hail Arsenal’s Player Of The Month

Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno has been in superb form in recent weeks and unsurprisingly he has been voted as the club’s player of the month for March.

His standout contribution was undoubtedly his incredible double save against Tottenham in the 1-1 draw at Wembley.

Gunners supporters on Twitter have been praising Leno’s performances in an Arsenal shirt:

There were certainly question marks when Leno originally took over the gloves from Petr Cech back in September. He had some notable off days including the 3-2 defeat to Southampton in December.

However, the German’s form has gradually improved since the turn of the year up until a point now where he is one of Unai Emery’s most reliable performers.

Although voting a keeper player of the month doesn’t necessarily reflect well on some of the team’s defending, it is nonetheless well deserved. Leno has certainly won the team a fair number of points with his saves this campaign.
