3) Norwich paid a modest fee for Buendia in 2018
The playmaker’s loan spell at Cultural Leonesa grabbed the attention of Norwich’s scouts. He scored six goals and provided 12 assists in 40 league appearances for the Spanish second division club.
It led to the Canaries paying an initial £1.5m for Buendia in the summer of 2018. He has now spent two and a half years at Carrow Road.
