Arsenal could finally complete the Khedira deal after Real failed to meet the German’s expectations. There have been many rumors which sugestt that the World Cup winner was using the Gunners to get more money from the Spanish side which now seem keen on letting the 27 year old leave. According to Metro, Khedira will have no choice but to leave as most of the money that might come from Real is tied to certain performance parameters which the German midfielder will not achieve unless he plays on a regular basis. With that in mind, it seems that his best choice is to come to London.

With Real Madrid making things clear as far as Khedira’s future goes, it is now up to the midfielder to decide if he accepts Arsenal’s offer. Set to come to the Emirates for £24million, the 27 year old is also being targeted by Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Even though some say the German side is the obvious choice, there are rumors that hint that Guardiola is not willing to meet Khedira’s financial expectations. Chelsea are also reluctant about signing a new midfielder as they already have Obi Mikel and Matic to cover the defensive duties of the midfield.

Arsenal are the obvious choice if you consider that there are already 4 German players in their squad and that Wenger is willing to pay Khedira almost as much as Sanchez and Ozil who are currently leading the salary ranks.
