With Chelsea and Liverpool both winning comfortably, and Manchester City with a game in hand, this defeat puts extra pressure on Arsenal. However, Wenger is refusing to panic, and wants to focus on the team’s performance rather than assessing rival results.

Arsenal next face Everton in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup in the coming week, and will look to win that game to ensure they have another chance of winning a trophy this season. With their UEFA Champions League chances looking bleak after the first leg defeat, Wenger will want the title race to go right down to the wire while hoping he can also take the Gunners to a domestic Cup final.
