Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have been included among the nominees for the PFA Young Player of the Year.
The two players were nominated alongside Manchester City’s Phil Foden, Chelsea right-back Reece James, Crystal Palace’s Conor Gallagher and Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey for the prize.
While the majority of fans on Twitter are delighted that both Saka and Smith Rowe made the shortlist, quite a few feel that Foden will be named as the winner:

Out of the two, you would have to say that Saka has the best chance of winning, with Smith Rowe’s form having dropped off near the end of the campaign.
In terms of the overall favourite, though, both Foden and Gallagher have been receiving a lot plaudits from both supporters and pundits so they will be strong contenders. As it is the PFA award, though, it will be down to the players to decide.
