We Asked Arsenal Fans Who Should Be The Club’s Next Manager And The Poll Results Show A Clear Favourite

Arsenal are looking to step up their search for a new manager this week, with a number of different coaches expected to be interviewed for the vacant position.

We asked GoonerNews users to see who they would like to be appointed as Unai Emery’s permanent successor, and it appears a former Tottenham manager is the favourite amongst supporters:

Pochettino is believed to be among the names that the club are considering, but his odds have lengthened considerably in recent days, with Betfred having him as far out as 20/1 to get the job.

The Gunners’ 3-0 home defeat to Manchester City will certainly pressure Arsenal’s board into trying to find a permanent manager as soon as possible.

Despite the poor performance yesterday, Freddie Ljungberg’s name is still in the frame, but the red-hot favourite continues to be Mikel Arteta, who is odds-on with every bookmaker.

The Manchester City assistant manager, and former Arsenal captain, is currently firmly ahead of the likes of Pochettino, Carlo Ancelotti and Max Allegri in the race for the role at the Emirates.
