The Brazilian forward has really come into his own this campaign. He is adding goals and assists to his game as he matures as a footballer, meaning he is backing up his speed and direct play with a genuine goal threat.
Martinelli still has some way to go to match the praise of Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp who called him the “talent of the century” a couple of years back, but he is beginning to realise his potential.
