With injuries being far less of a problem for the Ghanaian this season, we have finally begun to see why manager Mikel Arteta was so keen for the club to break the bank for the midfielder.


Partey is able to protect the back four pretty much singlehandedly but he is also very capable on the ball. Over the past twelve months, he has been averaging 4.99 progressive passes per match, putting him in the top 15% of midfielders in the top five European leagues.
