Arsenal are reportedly considering former player, and current Manchester City first-team coach, Mikel Arteta as a possible successor to Unai Emery.
The Spaniard was interviewed previously for the role, but the Gunners may now look to bring in the ex-midfielder if they opt to sack Emery in the coming weeks or months.
Supporters on Twitter are divided on whether Arteta would be the right fit for the club:
He is the perfect choice for Arsenal. Even Pep endorses Arteta because he said City should appoint him, once he leaves.

It would be a gamble appointing Arteta. He has no experience of being the manager, and while he has had the perfect mentor in Pep Guardiola, there is no guarantee that he could make the transition to being head coach.
Saying that, Arsenal have gone down the tried and tested route with Emery, and that hasn’t worked out too well so far, but there are other candidates that would probably be less risky than Arteta.
The likes of Jose Mourinho and Massimiliano Allegri have also been mentioned, while former captain Patrick Vieira is another possible option.
