‘Super Agent’ Zahavi In Touch With Edu As Arsenal Consider 21M Swoop

Pini Zahavi has been in contact with Arsenal technical director Edu about Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon, according to reports in the English media.

The Israeli international was linked with a move to the Emirates back in January, but it appears the Gunners have also been offered the chance to sign him this summer.

Shakhtar are reportedly willing to let Solomon leave for £21m, with ‘super agent’ Zahavi having been tasked with finding the 21-year-old a new club.

Arsenal have been contacted, along with a number of other Premier League teams, as the winger looks to manufacture a move to England.

Whether Solomon is being considered as a potential option by Edu and manager Mikel Arteta, it is not known. The Israeli has had a decent season, scoring 11 goals in 35 appearances, but the Gunners are considering a number of players to strengthen their midfield.

It is believed Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard remains the priority target, with Norwich’s Emi Buendia the main alternative.
