Arsenal are very interested in Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Solomon, according to multiple reports in the English media.
The Gunners are said to have already held talks with the Israeli international’s agent but a bid is only likely to happen in the summer when the London club are expected to have the requisite transfer funds.
Solomon has only really become known on the European stage after excellent performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League this season, and fans on Twitter are not sure the club should be going after the 21-year-old:

How many players are we linked to?

This signing doesn't make a lot of sense to me. We're swinging in the dark again. He might come good or he might be a waste. Right now we need to concentrate on adding real quality to the squad.

Not a player we need, get either an EPL proven player or someone from the Academy.

Reports suggest that Arsenal’s interest is not simply a result of Solomon’s headline-grabbing displays in Europe. It is believed that the Gunners have had the 21-year-old scouted extensively and think he does possess the quality to play in the Premier League.
Solomon’s numbers for Shakhtar are not exactly eye-catching though, having scored 12 goals and contributed seven assists in 62 appearances for the Ukrainian club.
