The Chilean was an unqualified success during his three and half year spell at Arsenal. Sanchez may have disappointed many by the way he left for Manchester United but he gave the Gunners his prime years, with 80 goals in 166 appearances.

Many supporters may have marked down the Swiss international as a failure but Xhaka has now spent five years as a first-team regular, winning two FA Cups, two Community Shields as well as reaching the finals of the Europa League and League Cup.
