10) William Saliba – £27m – JURY’S OUT
It would not be fair to rate the Frenchman’s time at the club as he hasn’t even had a first-team appearance since joining from Saint-Etienne in 2019. Whether Saliba will be given a chance when he returns from his loan spell at Marseille, we shall have to wait and see.
9) Shkodran Mustafi – £35m – FAILURE
The German had performed well at Valencia but after arriving at the Emirates in 2016, the centre-back never looked convincing. Mustafi consistently made errors during his four and a half year stay in London before he was eventually offloaded on a free transfer to Schalke.
