Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette is struggling for form at the moment with his last goal in any competition coming on December 12th when he scored in a 2-2 draw against Standard Liege.
The 28-year-old hasn’t actually scored away from home in the league for almost a whole year, with his last goal coming against Huddersfield in a 2-1 win last February.
Supporters on Twitter are getting very concerned about Lacazette’s recent performances:
Should have been dropped weeks ago. Burnley’s goal keeper looks more of a threat in front of goal

Can we just accept he’s a bench option at best. Lacazette will never be a top 6 prem striker.

Lacazette is undoubtedly lacking in confidence, but it may only need one goal to turn his fortunes around. It is a difficult call for head coach Mikel Arteta to make. If he does drop the Frenchman, it will send the message that he doesn’t have faith in the player.
However, with the Gunners having just drawn their thirteenth league game of the season, he needs to find a solution for the club’s goalscoring woes. With Nicolas Pepe sitting on the bench, the obvious solution would be to take Lacazette out of the firing line and move Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back centrally.
