Arsenal will step up their interest in Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, according to reports in the English media.
The Cherries are believed to be holding out for £30m despite the Scottish international entering the last twelve months of his contract at the Vitality Stadium.
Some fans on Twitter think Fraser’s price tag is way too much and that there are better options out there on the market:
Should be 12m max

Hakim Ziyech is a way better player than Fraser and he’s on the same price, or less.

My opinion:
Fraser for 15-20m? All day.
Fraser for 30m? No way.— Michael Johnson (@mfjohnson89) May 24, 2019
Most we should pay is £15 million or get him free next season..would be daft to pay £30 million

I'd pay no more than 20M with maybe an added 5M in add-ons, should we reach top 4 etc.
Also i'd offer no more than 65k a week in wages

He is not worth it. Bergwijn, Ziyech, Neres or Zaha would be better signings than him.

Other supporters think the 25-year-old would be a decent signing for the club:
If it means replacing that headless chicken Iwobi pay the £30m

Completely disagree with anyone saying he's not worth it, yes it is his breakthrough season, however he plays for Bmouth meaning whatever his numbers were with them can sky rocket with us and even if he duplicates last season with AFC that would be a success. Can play LWB too.

Fraser is absolutely brilliant. He's torn us a new one the last couple of seasons. Will enhance the squad immeasurably.

With players such as Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech reportedly available for £22m this summer, there is certainly a case to be made against signing Fraser.
However, Ziyech and Nicolas Pepe for that matter will have multiple suitors that can also offer Champions League football.
The level of transfer targets that the Gunners go after may ultimately depend on the outcome of the Europa League final against Chelsea on Wednesday.
