Bournemouth Star Admits “It’s Very Nice” To Be Linked With Arsenal Switch

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser admits he is flattered by reports that Arsenal are interested in signing him.

The 25-year-old is said to be one of the players the Gunners are looking at to strengthen their squad in the summer, and when asked about the link to the London club, Fraser replied:

“I’m not going to lie, it’s very nice. It means you are doing something right. They are a huge club, a massive club.”

“When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well. I’m not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club.”

The Scottish international has had a good season, having scored seven goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions. He has been at Bournemouth for six years after moving from Aberdeen when he was a teenager.

During the South Coast club’s inaugural Premier League campaign, Fraser did spend a year out on loan at Ipswich but he has been a regular for the Cherries in the last three seasons.

Fraser has racked up 170 appearances for Eddie Howe’s team in total, and will likely be in the starting line up when his side face Burnley at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
