Should Arsenal Say Pass To Real Madrid Star?

Rumors that Karim Benzema is ready to leave have sparked interest from Arsenal once more who have been linked heavily to the Frenchman in the past.

Benzema is apparently ready to leave Real Madrid as Benitez is uncertain who will lead the Spanish side’s attack next season. According to Squawka the French international is not at all at peace with the idea that he might not be the new manager’s first choice and is considering a move. The natural move for a player of his caliber is to join the Premier League. After 6 years spent in Madrid, it is very likely to see the 27 year old relocate in London where Arsenal might just offer him the certainty of being Wenger’s top pick. The certainty is not delivered necessarily by the club or the manager but by the fact that Benzema has already won the battle with Giroud while competing for a spot in France’s attacking line. Even though the two could play together, it is very likely to see Benzema up front by himself.

It would be a massive success for Arsenal to land Benzema who in his 281 appearances for Real, scored 134 goals and made 86 assists. His contribution to the team’s success is more than impressive especially if you consider the fact that he had moments when he was not Mourinho or Ancelotti’s first choice.

Even if the Frenchman is valued at about £35 million, he definitely looks like an player worth bidding for. With him and Sanchez up front and with one more move to cover the left wing (Draxler is rumored to finally be ready to leave Schalke), Arsenal would do some serious damage and would become a sure contender for next year’s Premier League trophy.
