Arsenal are going through a good period but might suffer a loss of form as injuries start affecting the lot again. Even if almost all key players will return before the end of December, it will be a great risk to push through the season without any backups being signed you would have to think. All departments could undergo reinforcing including substitutes or even first eleven regulars. If Wenger manages to get through to the Champions League or Europa League it will be incredibly difficult to hold on with only 19 players, 14 of which play 80-85 minutes on average.

The thing that gives Wenger the biggest headache is probably the fact that he will have to decide by January if he wants to push his luck and continue using the same players over and over. It would be a pity to see him doing that especially this season when the Gunners are becoming near favorites to win the Premier League.

There are some opportunities which can be considered right now but where should Wenger invest more? During the summer, there was a big issue up front where no one thought Walcott would do so good. Giroud was also an uncertainty. Things calmed down after both players proved everyone wrong. The left side could definitely undergo some improvement though and would probably be worth the money. Sanchez does play great as a left winger but does not have the same influence over the game as he did last season on the right. With that in mind Wenger could take up Real Madrid on an unexpected offer. According to Squawka, it seems that the Spaniards are ready to sell Jese Rodriguez for £21.1m. The winger who is only 22 would finally fill a big gap which was not covered properly during the past couple of seasons. The youngster would definitely be likely to get more time on the pitch but not sure if Wenger will actually spend that much on this winger.
