Serge Gnabry Set To Leave Emirates

Serge Gnabry is one of Arsenal’s most promising players. Even so, there is little to no chance of seeing him perform in Wenger’s team after Sanchez’s transfer. With Walcott also set to make his return for the 2014-2015 season, the 19 year old German is very unlikely to make the team. In order not to lose his excellent pace, the Gunners will probably send him on loan with one of the three clubs interested in the winger’s services. According to the Mirror, Southampton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have joined the race for Gnabry who, in time, will surely become a very useful player for any team.

Considering Arsenal’s recent transfer activity, Newcastle and Southampton have the upper hand over Crystal Palace. Both teams have been in business with the North Londoners who signed Debuchy and Chambers.

The young German player seems a bit unhappy with his situation and insists he is ready to fight for a spot in the starting line-up. With Sanchez already proving he is worth the money, Gnabry might be a bit quick to assess his options. It would be a lot better for him to continue playing in order to keep his form. He was assured by Wenger that he has a future with Arsenal but now is not his time. Unlike Wilshere, Ramsey or Gibbs who became team regulars pretty much at the same age as Gnabry, the 19 year old has very tough competition and he is not yet capable of posing a threat to either Sanchez or Walcott.
