Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard put in a man-of-the-match performance as the Gunners came from 1-0 down to beat West Ham on Monday evening.
The Norwegian international made five key passes and contributed two assists as Mikel Arteta’s side stretched the gap at the top of the Premier League table to seven points.
Supporters on Twitter were full of praise for Odegaard who has been leading by example with his performances so far this season:

After scoring a brace in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Wolves just before the World Cup, the playmaker stepped up to the plate once again to help the Gunners secure three more points against the Hammers.
Odegaard was somewhat fortunate with his assist for Bukayo Saka’s equaliser, with his scuffed shot finding its way to his teammate. He did, however, provide a good ball for Eddie Nketiah, whose swivel and shot made it 3-1.
Fans will be hoping to see more of the same from their Norwegian talisman when Arteta’s men take on Brighton this weekend.
