RB – Calum Chambers

Chambers

It’s a damning indictment of Arsenal’s transfer policy that manager Mikel Arteta has four right-backs (Bellerin, Cedric, Maitland-Niles and Chambers); none of which are deemed good enough by the manager.

Despite performing poorly against Brentford, Chambers seems likely to keep his place. Cedric played the first two friendlies and hasn’t got a look-in since, while both Bellerin and Maitland-Niles are expected to be sold.
