Arsenal are still “waiting” on a decision from Thomas Partey about whether he wants to leave Atletico Madrid this summer, according to the Guardian‘s Fabrizio Romano.
The reliable journalist says the Ghanaian is still “in talks” with his current club about a new contract, and there is no indication yet as to whether he is keen to move clubs:

If Partey does opt against signing a new deal, it must be pointed out that the 27-year-old still has three years remaining on his current contract.
That means the Gunners will not be able to get a discount on the midfield enforcer. With his release clause currently standing at €50m (£45.5m), the London club will need to find a way to fund the transfer.
The sale of Matteo Guendouzi is probably the likeliest source of income, but it remains to be seen who will stump up the cash for the Frenchman.
